Medea Electronique announces an open call for live acts for Electric Nights, a festival of live electronic audiovisual performances. This sixth edition of Electric Nights takes place in Athens, Greece on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2018.
Live acts should have a duration of between 30 and 45 minutes. All submissions must be made through our on-line form. Email submissions will be ignored. Mind that the setup will be a quadraphonic PA and one projector with a screen behind the performers’ position.
Open Call for Workshops
Medea Electronique announces an open call for workshops for Electric Nights, a festival of live electronic audiovisual performances. This sixth edition of Electric Nights takes place in Athens, Greece on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2018.
We are looking for workshops exploring various practices within electronic music and visuals, ranging from programming in various textual or visual languages through to circuit design, circuit bending, network interfaces, electronics or anything other topic that is part of today’s new media practices.
Workshops will take place either on the 2nd of March 2018 for a period of around three to four hours or the 3rd of March 2018 for a longer period of up to seven hours (including appropriate breaks).
