The exhibition features the artist’s drawings and photographs, and the connections between these works are suggested by the vocabulary of the dance medium. Then we may also feel the artist: sometimes drawing, sometimes mocking, sometimes going out with her camera to check her own relationship with dance. Life circumstances, properties and contexts of objects become her dancing partners; she accepts an inner invitation to unleash the concentrated energy of imagination through movement. The rhythms composed by lines, colours, light and bodies complexly create a choreography of action. Using curves, straight lines and shadow halftones, the artist remains at the epicentre – both drawings and photographs record the characteristic dynamics of movement, the estimation of its potential and its critical meanings imprinted in colour. The dialogues that determine the form are easily readable, and the possibility of resistance, metamorphosis and transformation is grasped through the memory of the body.
