Introduction: Following the publication of collection highlights in 2019, Nam June Paik Art Center in 2021 is pleased to present the curator’s video commentary on Paik’s major works from its collection. Building up research capacity through exhibitions and scholarly programs, curators at Nam June Paik Art Center are devoting constant effort to expand a spectrum of knowledge about Paik’s work, alongside art historical information, and to make it more accessible. The commentaries produced for this sake include the interesting materials relating to each work, housed in Nam June Paik Art Center Archives. Please join the curator for exploring Paik’s world.
백남준아트센터는 2019년 소장품 하이라이트를 발간한 데 이어 2021년 큐레이터가 소개하는 작품 해설 영상을 제공합니다. 백남준아트센터의 학예연구사들은 전시와 학술 프로그램 기획을 통해 쌓은 연구 역량을 바탕으로 백남준 작품에 대한 핵심적인 미술사 정보와 더불어 다양한 지식 콘텐츠를 개발하기 위해 힘쓰고 있습니다. 그리고 이를 보다 많은 이들이 쉽게 접할 수 있는 형식으로 제공하고자 합니다. 그 일환으로 제작된 소장품 해설 영상은 백남준아트센터 아카이브의 각종 자료를 더해 흥미롭게 구성됩니다. 큐레이터와 함께 백남준의 예술 세계로 들어가 보시기 바랍니다.
