CURRENTS Virtual 2021 offers an alternative to the annual in-person CURRENTS New Media Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico. CURRENTS Virtual includes over 50 artists in the categories of AR, VR, 360° videos, desktop experiences, and videos that are exclusive to the online portion of the festival. There will also be a number of virtual lobbies to socialize with attendees from all around the world. CURRENTS Virtual will be held on Ohyay, a new and highly interactive platform for virtual events. There will be a program of livestream performances as well as more immersive events that require registration. (Ticket information updates can be found at facebook.com/currentsnewmedia).
