Foyle Film Festival, a flagship project of the Nerve Centre, is the annual celebration of independent films, acclaimed feature length movies, documentaries and short films.Over the years the Festival has become renowned for attracting high profile names such as Brendan Gleeson, Ray Winstone, Wim Wenders, Cillian Murphy, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kenneth Branagh, Roddy Doyle, Jimmy McGovern, Sam Shepherd, Danny Boyle, Paul Greengrass, Frank Cottrell Boyce, Stephen Rea, Julien Temple – to name but a few. This year’s Festival will be no different.In addition, the Festival offers a stand alone education program targeting schools and colleges with a series of curriculum based feature films, documentaries, workshops, presentations, and outreach screenings.
