Within this interactive exhibition, we invite participants to engage and discuss the fine line between art, sexuality and objectification. Viewers are challenged to ask: “In which ways are sexuality and the human form portrayed and consumed within ourselves, our history and culture?”
In addition to the exhibit, focusing on photography and video; Harshini J. Karunaratne will offer an audio/visual lecture performance on her study of the myth of Ophelia; while author, Pimenta Cítrica, will host an Erotica writing workshop, guiding you through the art of expressing your most intimate fantasies on paper (separate tickets required).
Working with the principle that art should be relatable but also challenge our preconceived ideas, this project aims to foster education, spark conversations and explore the boundaries of artistic expression.
