Over a period of eight years, Simon Gerlinger has captured the fleeting moments of his everyday life in impressive images - sometimes bright, sometimes dark, sometimes delicate, sometimes intense. However, Ephemeral Echoes is much more than just a collection of photos. It is a visual diary that helps the viewer to rediscover the art of seeing and invites them to pause. By skillfully combining selected images in duo compositions, the book opens up space for diverse interpretations. It tells in a very personal way about topics such as growing up, loneliness and community, love and melancholy - an authentic mirror of life that touches and inspires reflection.
