The first year of the Best in Design Competition started in 2010 and since then, it has been supporting young designers up to the age of 30 from all over the world. Apart from the financial support for young artists the competition also provides meeting experts, professional feedback, and media coverage. The competition is an integral part of Zlin Design Week, which every year in May turns Zlin into an extraordinary city full of design. However, no exhibition of a similar kind was organized during that time - not even in the entire Czech culture scene. The non-traditional concept is used for the first time by the Mozilla Hubs. Not only is it possible to exhibit virtually, but visitors are also allowed to integrate with each other. By creating their avatars they may communicate and share content together.
