⟪The Last Carnival⟫

‘생’은 순간들이 끝없이 반복되거나 일시적으로 모여 있는 찰나이며, 결국 파괴와 소멸로 귀결되는 유한한 서사다.

‘삶’은 폐허와 희생, 재탄생을 통해 일시적 해방과 자유를 경험하게 하며, ‘마지막’은 이 모든 것의 전제조건이다.

3명의 작가는 이를 각자의 방식과 의식적 행위로 폐허와 희생, 재탄생의 리듬으로 풀어내며, 마치 놀이의 형식을 빌린 죽음의 무대 혹은 축제의 가장자리에 선 듯한 장면을 연출한다.

⟪The Last Carnival⟫은 익숙한 세계의 질서가 잠시 멈추고, 뒤틀린 감각과 혼종의 상상력이 펼쳐지는 순간이자 유희다.

‘Life’ is a finite narrative of moments that endlessly repeat or transiently assemble, ultimately leading to destruction and extinction.

‘Being’ allows us to experience temporary liberation and freedom through ruin, sacrifice, and rebirth, with the ‘last’ serving as the prerequisite for all of these.

The three artists interpret this rhythm of ruin, sacrifice, and rebirth through their own methods and conscious acts,

creating scenes that resemble stages of death inspired by playfulness or moments on the edge of a festival.

⟪The Last Carnival⟫ is a moment when the familiar order of the world pauses briefly,and twisted senses and mixed imaginations—a spectacle blending carnival and play.
