The exhibition explores the planned implementation of fully autonomous systems in border security – ranging from biometric data collection to algorithmic “risk” assessment to automated voice recognition. Central to the exhibition is a new animated video work by Bùi, developed through extensive research in collaboration with Ahmad Katlesh, Petra Molnar, Khoi Nguyen, Sinthujan Varatharajah, Vanessa Vu.
