The Student competition – closes 30th November, 2023, at 13:00 (GMT) – provides a platform for photography students worldwide. Designed to challenge students undertaking top degrees / courses at institutions across the globe, the 2024 brief asks students to respond to the theme Home through five to 10 images. Student Photographer of the Year and their university/ institution is awarded a combined total of €30,000 of Sony digital imaging kit and global exposure. Open to under 19 year-olds, the Youth competition celebrates the photographers of tomorrow. Budding photographers can enter up to three images that interpret the brief ‘Through Your Eyes’ for free.
