She is renowned for her provocative and boundary-pushing works, aiming to liberate the female body from societal constraints. Delimar employs a variety of media, including performances, photography, collages, and films. Notably, she uses her own nude body as the central medium to challenge the objectification and commodification of the female form.
Starting from September 19th, them michaela stock gallery will showcase Delimar’s works, illustrating her artistic evolution from her beginnings to the present day. An astonishing 44 years have passed since her inaugural performance in 1979, titled “Attempt at Identification“, which she co-performed with Željko Jerman at the legendary Podroom Gallery in Zagreb. This exhibition provides an opportunity to trace her artistic journey and understand how her works have evolved over time.
