이 대화는 미카-에즈의 작품에 대한 김수민의 관심으로부터 이를 서울에서 선보일 가능성을 모색하며 시작되었으나, 팬데믹으로 인해 멈추었다. 김수민은 미카-에즈의 작업에서 다루는 주제인 자연, 자연과 인간의 관계, 생태철학과 공전·자전의 동시성, 우주를 여행하는 운석 또는 이름 없는 빙하에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이들의 대화 간에는 관련 자료, 참조 대상 그리고 참고 레퍼런스들이 느슨하게 교환된다. 

따라서 9,806km는 김수민의 작업실, 커피로의 반영, 미카-에즈의 작업실이라는 세 개의 대화의 순간을 중심으로 표현된다. 마치 지도를 제작하는 카토그래피 과정을 형성하듯, 다이얼로그로 만들어진 이미지는 두 사람간의 대화와 이번 전시를 만들어가는 과정의 부분을 보여 준다.

9.806 km es una exposición virtual que ambos tienen en sus perfiles de Instagram (@mikha.ez y @meenkim.iphoto).

9.806 km es, además, un libro de artista en el que todo el contenido de la exposición forma parte del mismo.

El diálogo surge del interés de Soomin Kim por el trabajo de

Mikha-ez y la posibilidad de mostrarlo en Seúl, algo que la pandemia truncó. Soomin Kim quiere conocer más acerca de los temas tratados en la obra de Mikha-ez: la naturaleza y su relación con el ser humano, la ecosofía y la sincronía, los meteoritos que viajan por el espacio o acerca de los icebergs que no tienen nombre. Durante el diálogo se produce un intercambio pausado de materiales, referentes y referencias.

Así, 9.806 km se articula alrededor de tres momentos del diálogo: en el estudio de Soomin Kim, reflexiones alrededor de una taza de café y en el estudio de Mikha-ez. Como si de una cartografía se tratara se muestran parte de los diálogos mantenidos entre ambos y el proceso de creación de esta exposición; que es un diálogo hecho imagen.

The dialogue arises from Soomin Kim's interest in Mikha-ez's work and the possibility of showing it in Seoul, something that the pandemic cut short. Soomin Kim wants to know more about the topics covered in Mikha-ez's work: nature and its relationship with the human being, ecosophy and synchronicity, meteorites that travel through space or icebergs without a name. During the dialogue there is a leisurely exchange of materials, referents and references.

Thus, 9,806 km is articulated around three moments of dialogue: at Soomin Kim's studio, reflections over a cup of coffee, and at Mikha-ez's studio. As if it were a cartography, part of the dialogues between the two and the process of creating this exhibition are shown; which is a dialogue made image.
