이 강좌는 융복합적 공감이라는 키워드로 인문학적 관점에서 미술사를 연결한다. 특히 현대미술을 중심으로 국내외 작가들의 작품을 특징짓는 연결성의 특징을 살펴본다.급격한 변화의 시기에 인간과 세계의 제반관계를 예술작품을 통해 다시 성찰하는 기회라고도 할 수 있다. <공감, 연결 – 예술의 시작>, <공감, 연결 – 융복합의 효과>, <예술의 다양성>, <인간 중심주의, 그리고 그 너머>라는 4가지 소주제를 설정했다. 예술의전당 인문학 강좌에서 많은 관심을 받고 있는 이진숙 강사는 문학적 전문지식과 미술현장경험을 토대로 생생한 강의를 선보인다. 인문학적, 학제간 연결을 통하여 미술을 분석하는 흥미로운 강좌이다.
