With the program Braunschweig PROJECTS, the state of Lower Saxony and the Braunschweig University of Art each year announce a total of eight artistic scholarships internationally, three in the field of sound art and five in the field of fine art.
They are aimed at young artists who are interested in working intensively artistically on a project-related basis in the immediate environment of an University of Art. The project proposal must be expected to make an important contribution to the further development of artistic forms and means of expression.
Part of the funding are scholarships of 1,250 Euro per month in the field of sound art up to 6 months and in the field of fine art up to 12 months. In addition, a Wohnatelier rent-free for reimbursement of ancillary costs for the period of stay at the HBK Braunschweig provided.
And there is the possibility to participate in a mentoring program.
