리서치-기반 기획전 《방금 전의 소문과 오래된 증거로부터》

《방금 전의 소문과 오래된 증거로부터》는 한때 철도로 연결되었던 동북아시아 도시 간 네트워크를 사람과 물건의 이동이라는 감각적 렌즈를 통해 재구성하는 리서치 기반 기획전이다. 이번 전시는 시각 예술가 반재하와 최가영, 기획자 이혜원의 리서치를 바탕으로, 중국 대련, 단둥, 선양, 장춘, 연변, 도문 등지를 여행하며 수집한 기록과 물품, 그리고 그 과정에서 마주한 연결과 단절, 우회의 감각을 전시로 풀어낸다. 한때 철도망으로 촘촘하게 연결되었던 동북아시아―남한과 북한, 중국, 일본―도시들의 과거와 현재를 사람과 물건의 이동이라는 렌즈를 통해 재구성하며, 분단과 식민주의가 남긴 유통 시스템의 흔적을 탐색하는 본 전시는 올해 10월 30일 인천아트플랫폼에서 예정된 리서치-기반 퍼포먼스로 확장될 예정이다.

Research-Based Exhibition 《From Recent Rumors and Old Traces》

《From Recent Rumors and Old Traces》 is a research-based exhibition that reconfigures the transnational urban networks of Northeast Asia—once connected by rail—through the sensory lens of human and goods mobility. Based on the collaborative research of visual artists Ban Jaeha and Kayoung Choi and curator Hyewon Lee, this exhibition unfolds the affective registers of movement, rupture, and detour encountered through travels across Dalian, Dandong, Shenyang, Changchun, Yanbian, and Tumen in China.

Focusing on past and present connections among cities in South and North Korea, China, and Japan—historically sutured by imperial rail infrastructure—the exhibition traces the residual distribution systems shaped by colonialism and division. It will further extend into a research-based performance to be held at Incheon Art Platform on October 30, 2025.
