현대어린이책미술관이 주한체코문화원과 함께 선보이는 순회 전시 프로젝트《BEYOND PAPER PLANE : 체코의 어린이 책》은 체코의 현대 일러스트레이터와 예술가를 소개하고, 그들이 작업한 다양한 모습의 어린이 책을 선보입니다. 이번 전시에서는 책 속의 그림 뿐 아니라, 입체로 만들어진 그림,책에 붙어 있는 페이지가 펼쳐지며 공간이 확장되는 팝업북, 직접 만지며 촉감으로 교감하거나 만들기도 볼 수 있는 활동책 등 어린이 책이 지니고 있는 무수한 잠재력을 보여줍니다. 전시 내에서 구별되는 여덟 가지의 독특한 표현 방식의 다양한 ‘체코의 어린이 책’들을 만나보시기를 바랍니다. / 현대어린이책미술관
