An art tutor, a parent or any other authority figure can leave unwanted marks that can have a long-lasting negative impact on artists. This short online course encourages participants to challenge their preconceived notions about the art world and its unspoken rules, which often inhibit self-belief and the creative process.
Enrolment to Unspoken Rules of the Art World is by application, and all successful applicants will have their tuition fees sponsored by the SÛ Collection (Madrid/Berlin).

The 'Unspoken Rules of Art World' series features four short courses ⏤ Identity, Authority, Success, and Creating. For example, an unspoken rule about 'authority' is don't contact people in Authority in case you seem too "pushy". One about 'success' is never talking about money, for fear of being too commercial. Participants are encouraged to act beyond those limiting beliefs and pursue opportunities for their art practice that today feel unachievable. Each course lasts two weeks.
"The course helped me become more aware that other artists have similar problems. I enjoyed the openness of the course outcomes and was surprised to understand that I (re)produce the unspoken rules." - Participant, Identity course. More endorsements can be found on our website.
