ART HISTORY IN MOTION_JULIE QUINN

- ART HISTORY IN MOTION #0 -

Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, Julie Quinn has deeply experienced the fusion of civilizations from her early childhood in Tachikawa, Japan, where she was born and raised until she was about five years old ; until her parents moved back to the USA.

Playing a central role in her life since the beginning,

Art has infused so much within Julie Quinn that she became both an international and intercivilizational Artist, a bridge between Far-East and West.

Artist, speaker, teacher,
Julie Quinn’s unique language is in osmosis with the world.

Metalanguage, declaration of both her self and the essence of the Whole, her language inspires one’s language to compose … for example … poems :

Spiritual abstractions,

Seasownal revelations

Emanating from the atemporal

Ephemeris of the fusion of civilizations

Julie Quinn, pacific rime, takes part in

With the wisdom of the smile within

Which colour and stroke unifies,

Inner and sanctum magnifies ;

As the oak protects and lets pass the light within

For us to take part in the atemporal ephemeris

Ancient Words
Ink, oil, and acrylic on claybord, 30 x 10 x 2 in / 76.2 x 25.4 x 5.08 cm, 2012

– Rather omnichromatic than tending to become achromatic

Are the Ancient Words –

This is the arcana the Artist offers us the promise

Via a meditation on what is presence ;

For us, tending to become,

To transcend our own worlds’ essence

And scent the Whole together with the Word promise

Revelations
Ink, oil, and acrylic on claybord, 24 x 8 x 2 in / 60.96 x 20.32 x 5.08 cm, 2015

Julie Quinn’s infinite palette welcomes us to several art events, galleries and on the Internet (juliequinnart.com and social networks) in order us to experience infinite artistic revelations and paint together the future world rooted in immemorial times…Everywhere right now.
