States of Emergency brings to MOMENTUM’s gallery space in Kunstquartier Bethanien and online on MOMENTUM’s IkonoTV channel the works of 18 international artists from 13 countries, joining forces to answer a pressing question: What is the role of the artist in a state of emergency?

Making its way from the ashes of the world that once was, this multimedia and gallery exhibition calls to artists as cultural first-responders, asking them to translate the felt experience of our time into visual languages, making sense of our precarious times through video art, performance, photography, installation and beyond. / MOMENTUM | Berlin
