WaterAid's online 'Toilet Stories' exhibition features stunning photography and heartfelt stories, transporting you to Madagascar, Rwanda and the UK. Explore how the humble toilet saves lives.

Toilet Stories is an online exhibition which explores the lives of those who are deeply affected by a lack of decent toilets - one in four people globally - and those whose lives have been transformed by them.

We meet Theresia from Rwanda, whose new home and toilet have brought her a sense of completeness. And Jean-Pierre Harison in Madagascar, who was inspired by what he saw as a boy to transform sanitation for his family and community.

Their stories, along with memories and experiences from the UK too, shine a light on the unifying need for decent toilets and their role in healthy, happy and dignified lives. WaterAid's Toilet Stories is supported by the People’s Postcode Lottery.
