Flux Factory offers a unique Artist-in-Residence program that provides workspace for artists within a socially engaged and immersive environment. Flux hosts over 40 artists annually from around the world, who share a labyrinthine building that houses 16 studios, 7 common workspaces, and a large public exhibition space.
The Flux Factory Residency grew organically out of a DIY artist’s collective founded in 1993 in an old spice factory in Brooklyn. Flux is now happily nestled in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens, New York.
