A multidisciplinary exhibition exploring movement and stillness through cookies, drawings, installations, and live puppet theatre.

“The Dancer on the Net, Cookies in Suspension” (〈그물 위의 무동〉) is a solo exhibition by artist Soohyun Ryu. Beginning with a simple idea of baking cookies as faces, Ryu has expanded her practice into drawing, installation, and performance. The exhibition weaves together resin-encased cookies, butter-trace spray works, and live puppet theatre, where the cookie character ‘Gugi’ comes to life on stage. Each work reflects on disappearance and continuation, stillness and movement, inviting visitors to encounter their own presence within these shifting states. Weekly performances and interactive workshops allow the audience to step directly into this delicate web of relationships.
