My New Narrative_Mauricio Alejo
Mexican artist and photographer Mauricio Alejo has created the following images by transforming objects into peculiar ones for his photographs.

Most of the work comes from irrational thoughts that are not shaped by common ideas, but these are primitive things you can only see in your daily life. However, it was ultimately produced from his experiences and thoughts, and expressed as a byproduct of somewhat idiosyncratic experiences. The psychological emptiness created by the violence inflicted on each scene also appears contradictory and absurd, not explicit meaning or metaphor. However, Alejo explains “bring them [the items] into a new narrative which doesn’t obey their functionality.”

If you look at the work, it features the everyday items he has been keeping up with for the last 16 years transforms them into a unique form for his photographic work. In other words, it has been expressed so that it must have the question about the general relationship between them since the things and the circumstances surrounding them have been abnormally subversive.
